Vol. 4: 90’s Only

We’re dedicating this month entirely to popular 90’s tracks you may have forgotten. Complete iTunes & Spotify playlists at end of article.

Here’s what we’ve been listening to:

“Around The World” – Daft Punk

Whether it’s earlier material or songs from their latest Grammy award-winning album, Daft Punk is a go-to for us.

“Jimmy Olsen’s Blues” – Spin Doctors

Classic 90’s feel-good song. What ever happened to these guys?

“Barely Breathing” – Duncan Sheik

Chill track that dominated the radio for a few years. Think it’s safe to say this was a one-hit wonder.

“Jimi Thing” – Dave Matthews Band

Favorite Line: “Take a drink, sit back and relax/Smoke my mind, make me feel better for a small time”.

“Shimmer” – Fuel

Big sound, catchy tune, and 90’s staple – not much more to say other than these guys rock and still put on a great show today.

“You Get What You Give New Radicals

A highly-melodic tune that was one of the more promising releases of the late 90’s.

“Champagne Supernova” – Oasis

Quite possibly the only hit song of the 90’s that required listening to the full 7 minutes and 28 seconds.

“Standing Outside A Broken Phonebooth With Money In My Hand” – Primitive Radio Gods

Interesting title for a super chill song.

“Praise You” – Fatboy Slim

Fatboy Slim had us dancin’ back then and they’re still getting the party started today.

“Paranoid Android” – Radiohead

One of Radiohead’s best albums (in our opinion). Anyone remember this music video? Slightly trippy…
