"After narrowly escaping a flash flood and an insane lightning storm earlier in the day, we finally set up camp on BLM land outside of Capitol Reef National Park in Utah.
As we were turning in for the night a storm started to move across the horizon, so naturally, we pulled out our camera gear and started shooting. Just moments after this photo was taken, a whooshing noise like that of a truck approaching on a highway started to sound.
Out of nowhere my tent was pried from the ground by incredibly strong winds. We immediately threw our gear in the car and waited out the storm.
Miraculously, the tent survived without a single tear, though it was about 40 yards from where this photo was taken when we found it."
