"The Perseids Meteor shower was happening and living next to a city would have made it close to impossible to see them.

Trail To Mt. Whitney

Camping on Mount Whitney is not for the faint of heart, for it raises higher than any piece of land in the USA outside of Alaska.

Salkantay Trek

13,700 feet up for a camping pitstop on the trek to Machu Picchu.

Raft Cove

The mild climate of its rainforest jungles and coastline features is a big part of why camping in the abundant parkland of Vancouver Island is so damn good.
